There are already a number of colliers laid up, and now it is reported that three.steamers engaged in carrying miscellaneous products to Newcastle and coal hack to the interstate port# are expected to bo placed out of commission. Hie idleness on the waterfront has resulted in nn work for 400 railway employees. The position is growing worse.
