'.March Kb 'The new cruiser London will pay a special visit to the Thames to enable Londoners to see her before she leaves for the Mediterranean. The Lord Mayor of London and the Mayor of Gravesend will pay an official visit to the cruiser during the day. The hospitality of the sliip will he reciprocated on Monday, when arrangements have been made for a reception at the London Guildhall of twenty officers and 201) ratings from the ship, and a piece of plate will be presented by the Lord Mayor to the captain. The new cruiser is the seventh of the distinguished line oi warships which have borne the name London.
