EVENING MEETING Tlie last of the amateur athletic evening meetings was held on the Caledonian Ground last evening, when the University Club held a fixture comprising three track events and one cycling race. There was a lair attendance. The weather was lino but dull, and though an early start was made the light soon Tailed, and the final event was run in semi-darkness. There were good fields In all the events, and some close finishes were seen. No time was taken in any of the events. The following are the results:— IUO YARDS HANDICAP.. First heat; S. Ho maintained his advantage and won comfortably.
