Hucldart, Parker, Limited’* accounts, just issued, disclose that the profits jell 'from £143.000 in 1927 to £124,467 in 1928, owing to the cooks’ and waterside strikes and the stagnation in the coal industry, in which the company is interested. The dividend has been re' duced from 14 per cent, to 10 per cent. The preference dividend is 6 per cent. The dividends absorb £105,000. v" ’
