(Received March 6, at 10 a.m.) Statistics covering thc_ operation of the AA’orkcrs’ Compensation Act show that tho number compensated for injuries in the year ended June 30 last totalled £61,000. Tho compensation paid in all eases amounted to £733,965, nearly double the amount for the previous year.
