■The 'Kahika. sailed last night tor Oamaru, Timaru, hind Lyttelton, to complete loading for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne. The Storm, winch arrived hero last evening from Lyttelton, will sail tonight lor Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. The Kekerangu, due at Dunedin tomorrow morning from Auckland via potrs, will discharge and load general cargo. She will sail again in the evening for Timaru, Lyttelton, and Auckland. The Corinna arrived this morning from Wellington, and is discharging and loading general cargo. She is timed to sail this evening for Oamaru. Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth. Tiro 'Opihi arrived from Westport this morning, and alter discharging a quantity of coal and loading general cargo, she will sail to-morrow for West-port direct. The Gale is duo here on Saturday from Lyttelton, and will sail the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington. and Wanganui. The Calm is expected to arrive cn ■ Monday from Bluff, and will load tor Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. The -Karctu will sail 10-niorrow afternoon for Oamaru and Bluff to complete discharge of her Australian cargo, thence Melbourne and Sydney. The Wihgatui sailed from Auck'and yesterday for Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin, where she is due next Tuesday, March 12. LEAVJNG LONDON TO-DAY. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company’s motor ship Kara men was scheduled to.leave London to-day with cargo for Suva, Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, and Nelson. She should reach this port about April 15. NAVIGATION. WARN INGS. The Secretary of the General Post Office . has received the following navigation warning from the Brisbane Radio Station: “ Smith’s Rock buoy light extinguished and out of position. All buoys marking Freeman’s Channel, Moreton Bay, reported .out of position.” Tile following warning lias been received from the Sydney station; “White painted boat seen floating near Austinmer, possibly occupied; vessels in vicinity please keep look-out for boat.” PERSONAL. Mr H. S. Collier has been appointed chid’ officer of the Kaikorai in place of Mr W. J. Hill, who has transferred to the Corinna. as acting-chief officer. Mr T. W. White lias rejoined the Waikouaiti ns chief officer after holidays, relieving Mr .1. D. Lundie, who has been, granted ,his holidays. Mr G. H. Kime, .second officer of the Kawatiri, is on holidays at Sydney. > Mr D. AaM.cnlo.ve is now third officer of (he Maori, having relieved Mr R. B. Steere lor holidays. Mr D. L. G. Turner, third officer of the Kainmi. has transferred to the. Kainuinawa, in a similar capacity, relieving Mr D. C. N. Champion. The filler officer has been appointed to the Kairanga, relieving Mr 1. L. Russell, the third officer, for holidays. Captain Donald M'Donald is now in command of the, Ivanna, and Captain A., S. Dalgliesh is awaiting instructions at' Lyttelton. The , death occurred on Tuesday evening of Kornclions Kristianson (Kris), at the age of fifty-seven rears. He was connected with ships practically all liis life, being associated with the Union Steam Ship Company for nearly thirty years. For many years he was a boatswain on the Picton and Nelson runs,’and was later on the Mahcno and the Tahiti. Ho leaves a widow and a family. REMUERA CLEARS CURACAO. Now on her way from Wellington to Southampton, the New Zealand Shipping Coniany’s liner Rcmuera lias been leported to have cleared Curacoa lasi Saturday. The ship sailed from Wellington on February 6, and is expecteid at Southampton on March 12. MIDDLESEX COMES SOUTH. Messrs Turnbull, Martin and Co. ■advise that the Federal Lino s.teamei Middlesex left Auckland on , Monday night for Wellington, Lyttellon. and Dunedin to discharge the rest ol her cargo, from Liverpool, being due at this port about March 16. TAINUI LEAVES LONDON. The Shaw, Savill. and Albion liner J’aiuni sailed Iron! London on 'lhursday, and was to clear Southampton on Friday, with passengers, mail, and cargo for New Zealand.
