STEADY PROGRESS
THE KING'S RECOVERY STATEMENT BY LORD DAWSON (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. RUGBY, January 31. (Received February 1, at noon.) The satisfactory progress which the King is making was indicated by a statement issued to-day by Lord Dawson through an official of Buckingham Palace, which said simply that there is nothing to report in regard to the King’s condition. It is pointed out that this means that His Majesty’s progress is so steady and so gradual that definite alteration from day to day cannot be noted. It is expected that the King will go to Bognor in a week’s time. QUEEN INSPECTS CRAIG WELL HOUSE. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, January 31. (Received February 1, at 12.5-5 p.m.) The King is expected to go to Bognor on February 7, if the weather is favourable. The Queen spent four hours there to-day completing preparations.
