NEW ZEALAND FRUIT AT HOME.
TO THE EDITOR* Sir, —In reply to Sir C. J. Parr’s letter of yesterday's issue, 1 am not aware that 1 intimated to the reporter that New Zealand apples were distributed through tho Australian Growers’ Association, but I say without tear of contradiction that scores of shops_ in England and Scotland were selling New Zealand-grown apples on which was displayed an embossed ticket with the words “ Australian fruit.” f met some of the New Zealand bonders in Scotland, and they bad noticed tho same thing, and drew my attention to it, and f will leave it to those gentlemen to say whether 1 am wrong or not.— J. am, etc,, T. E. Sakai:. February 1.
