NEW SOUTH WALES MINING INNOSTNY fre« Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, SYDNEY, December 21. (Received December 21, at 10.35 a.m) According to a report issued on behalf of the Government, tho raining industry in Now South Wales during tho, past year has been very unfavourable. Tho figures indicate that the value of production from tho State’s mines and quarries, which exceeded £20,000,000 during tnc past two years, will result in a loss of about £25,000,000. This is attributed to tho low prices ruling for lead, zinc, and tin, and the depressed condition of tho coal trade.
