ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
FOUND DROWNED. An elderly man, Allan Sinclair, was found drowned in Waitomo Greek at Otorohanga on Saturday/.... Ji search was organised when Sinclair failed to appear at the Commercial Hotel, where he boarded. The stream running through his farm was dragged, and the body recovered. The evidence at the inquest was that: deceased was accustomed to draw water, and had probably slipped* into the stream. The verdict was accidental death. Sinclair is believed to have a married daughter in Australia.—Hamilton message. FOUND GASSED. A Tiinaru Association telegram states ■ that .Bernard James Hope, one, was found dead at Temuka pith a. gas pipe in his mouth.
