Entitled “ Alarming Figures,” the Soviet has published a report on arson incidental to fires in tho countryside sinco October, 1927. They number 110,000, and are largely duo to strife, vengeance, and holhganism. Ono village was set on fire twcnt.v-oim times, another twenty, mid a third eighteen times.
