Tho Stock Exchange sales were again around 5,000,000, but tho record was not broken. The tickers were only half an hour behind to-day, and trading was more orderly. United States Steel Corporation stock was the leader on tho up side with a new high point of 16S, which did much to steady tho entire list. Many good advances were made, especially in copper.
