After several days’ stay in Dunedin to discharge her full cargo of stores and equipment, the Eleanor Bolling will proceed to Wellington, where she is expected about November 21. The business manager of the expedition (Mr 11. G. Brophy) leaves here on Thursday night for Dunedin to superintend discharging operations. When the Eleanor Bolling reaches Wellington it is intended to load the aeroplanes and other heavy equipment brought to New Zealand by the whaler C. A. Larsen, after which the vessel will return to Dunedin for final loading. The expedition is an expensive one to maintain, and tho New Zealand g'Hs have been greatly appreciated. The Wellington Harbour Board has given it tlie freedom of tho port, including ample storage accommodation; and one Wellington baker will supply gratis all the bread and cako needed by the ships while they are in port. A number of Dunedin manufacturers have goneronslv donated foodstuffs and equipment, and Cadbury’s and Fry’s have presented, suitably packed for Antarctic conditions, one ton of cocoa and chocolate.
