In the House of Commons Mr Locker--I,ampson (Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs), replying to Commander .Kenworthy, said that, as the United States proposed the replacement of the Bryce-Root Arbitration Treaty with a new treaty, the question of the renewal of tho former did not arise. There was no delay in arranging a new treaty beyond essential consultation with tho dominions. —Australian Press Association-United Service.
