UNITED PARTY AND PROHIBITION.
TO THE EDITORSir,—l wish to deny a statement made that tho United Party supports either “tho trade” or the Prohibition interests. My party leaves this question entirely to the individual opinion of tho candidates, a similar attitude being taken up by tho Reform Party. The United Party selects men as candidates for their general allround suitability for the position, and leaves questions such as Prohibition to their individual opinions.—! am, etc., November 13. C.
