The Archbishop, who is eighty-one years old, and has been Primate for twentylive years, also celebrates his golden wedding to-day, and the double event is to be marked by the presentation to him and Mrs Davidson of a tribute, to which- thousands of people have subscribed. . The presentation will be made privately this evening by the Prime Minister and the Archbishop of York (who succeeds Ur Davidson in the Primacy).
