TO-MORROW'S CHURCH SERVICES

The London Missionary Society’s deputation, the Hcv. Henry Whyte, M.A., of South India, will conduct the evening service at the United Congregational Church. At tlio North-east Valley Presbyterian , Church tiio services will bo taken by tho minister, the Rev George Miller. The morning subject will be ‘ Christ’s Teaching About the Church.’ In the evening the monthly evangelistic service will bo held. A solo will be sung by Miss F. Sumner. Special subjects will bo taken at tho Capgill Road Methodist Church by the Rev. W. B. Scott. At the evening service Mp Scott will deal will; the obligations and duties of the young elector at Wednesday’s poll. The subject in the morning will be ‘The League of Nations.’ At St. Kilda Methodist Church the Her. A, C. Lawry’s subjects will be ‘ War and tho Prince of Peace ’ in the morning, and ‘ Strangling the English Rose, Netting tha British Lion ’ in the evening. Tho services at the Caversham Baptist Church will bo conducted by tlio Rev. H. E. Edridge. Tho topic for the morning service, which commences at 10.45, will be ‘Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God, 1 and in tho evening ‘ Moved With Compassion.’ At t!m Morav Place Congregational Church the Rev. if. W. Whyte, M.A., who is this year’s L.M.S. deputation from India, will deliver an address in tho morning. The Rev. R. Ferguson Fish will tell the life story of John Bunyan in the Caversham Presbyterian Church in the evening. ‘ Why I Am a Prohibitionist ’ will be tho topic of Rev. E. S. Tuckwell’s address at the Hanover Street Baptist Church in the evening. At the evening service in the Mornmgton Methodist Church reference will be made to tho passing of Mr George Harvey, an old and honoured member and officebearer of the church. At York Place Hall believers are welcomed to the morning fellowship at the Lord’s Table. In the evening Ur Frank Varley will give a talk to parents, teachers, ; and all interested in the training and welfare of tho young, entitled ‘About the Children. 1
