Allotment 33, Block 111., Glcnroy, area 13.4 poles, with a modern bouse of six rooms thereon. No. 211 north Road, North-east Valley, was sold to Mr Mowat as agent. SYDNEY, October 30. (Received October 30, at 10.30 a.m.) Tho wholesale price of butter has been reduced by Id per lb to J 80s 8d per cwt owing'to heavy arrivals from Victoria and Queensland. LONDON -MARKETS. Tho Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London office as at close of business last week:— Butter; Weak; 17Gs to 178 s per cwt. Cheese: Slow; 107 sto 109. S per cwt. Frozen Moat: Tho market is inclined to become weaker for wither mutton, and supplies are more than sufficient to meet Die demand. It is thought prices for ewes will remain steady at last quotations. _ Lamb prices are maintained with difficulty. The beef market is depressed owing to arrival of heavy Australian supplies.
