ANNUAL ATHLETIC SPORTS Bright, sunny weather, with a fairly strong wind blowing from the south, prevailed tor tho annual athletic sports fixture of Columba Girls’ College, held on tho Columba playing fields. The meeting was commenced at about 9 o’clock this morning, there being a big programme of events. All the races attracted largo entries, and as a result some keen competition was in evidence among tho scholars. In some of the races there were as many res eight and nine beats, with a total of seventy and eighty competitors.
