REGENT'S NEXT ATTRACTION Claimed to be masters of thirty-seven instruments, Mayfield’s Cowboy Band, which makes its first appearance at the Regent Theatre to-morrow, should strike a now and original note in musical entertainment. It is not a jazz band only. This remarkable combinan serves up music in good form tor those who want it, as well as snappy jazz numbers and topical musical hits. n outstanding feature of the entertainment will bo the stage setting. The atmosphere of a Western ranch will be reproduced, the cowboys brine ■ picturesquely before ;t background of rolling Western country stretching behind the rails of a corral. They will wear the chaps, broad-rimmed hats, and flaming neckerchiefs of the tradi■lal Westerner that Zane °re-y and Owen Wister have made world-famous. Only the bulging six-shooter will be absent! These cowboys are a versatile troupe.
