According to tho annual issue of the organ of tno Society of Motor Manufacturers, the output of British motor cars was more than doubled between 1923 and 1927. The figures rose from Gd ,390 to 157,000. There was an equally striking increase in the manufacture of commercial cars, which rose from 21,604 to 52,000.
