SECOND CHILDREN'S DAY MANY PROMISING COMPETITORS The Saturday sessions of the festival of the Competitions Society were devoted entirely to children’s sections. There were splendid entries in most of the sections, and _ some excellent performances were given. The morning and afternoon sessions were well attended, and in the evening His Majesty’s Theatre was packed. Results; — INSTRUMENTAL. Judge: Mr Alfred Worsley.
