Years ago Tillio’s mother ran olf with the ringmaster of a circus. And then, one day, her former lover finds a baby on his door, lie brings the girl up, and keeps her away from circuses. Frisbee, the ringmaster, is now owner, and when the circus comes to town, Tiilio is irresistibly drawn to it, despite many warnings. Charioteers, clowns, lions, and calliopes give the little country girl who springs from a colourful past a rousing reception when she runs off to join the circus. Later on it is this same meek Tiilio who persuades the Crons gods to take the huge show to France, ostensibly because she thinks the soldim's need cheering up. la addition a production starring Thomas Meighan will bo shown, while tho announcement that Mr Arthur Aldridge, the delightful English tenor, is to have a further season will be enthusiastically welcomed. He will present an entirely new programme, which should be of the same merit as the one ho is appearing in at present.
