AIRMEN VISIT DOORN

RESENTMENT 1H GERMANY BERLIN, July 12.. Tho painful impression created m Germany by tho visit of tho transatlantic airmen, Baron Von Hiihnefeld and Captain Kohl, to the ex-Kaiser at Doom had an epilogue to-day, when the City of Cologne cancelled the festival arrangements made to greet them on their expected arrival. Public opinion has been much against this Doom visit, and tho newspapers of Cologne of Liberal tendency had accused Baron Von Hiihnefeld of reactionary tendencies and Kohl of being his good-tempered tool. Germans in general dislike tho habit of the. exKaiser in inviting all the celebrities feted by the Republic to come to see him; he is held thereby to exceed bis present status of a private personage. More tact on his part is demanded. The airmen intend to visit the great Press Exhibition at Cologne, and tho public enthusiasm for their arrival was originally great.
