SOUTHERN STARR-BOWKETT SOCIETY. A meeting of members of tlio Son them Starr-Bowkett Society was held last evening, and was presided oyer by Mr S. S. Myers. £2,000 was disposed of in the following groups:— Group No. 3, forty-sixth appropriation of £SOO by sale; group No. 4, eighteenth appropriation of £I,OOO by sale; group No. 5, twenty-second aj>propriation of £SOO by sale. The £SOO in group No. 3 realised a premium of £2O per £IOO. In group No. 4 £SOO was sold at a premium of £3O Is per £IOO, and the remaining £SOO at £lB 10s per £IOO. In group No. 5 the £SOO realised a premium of .£25 Is per £IOO.
