WAIRARAPA BEATS MARLBOROUGH [Per United I’ ms Association,] CARTERTON, August IS. After a poor exposition of the Rugby code Wairarapa easily ckhcatcd Marlborough in the Rnnfnrly Shield match. The challengers never looked like winners, though on occasions Hashes drove Wairarapa back. The weather was perfect, though the sun was in the laces ol the-visitors iu the second spoil.
