KAIKORAI BAND
There wap? a full house at-His Majesty’s Theatre, the occasion being the aftencburch concert given .by the Kaikorai Band under; the baton of Thos. J Kirk-Burnnand, its newly-appointed conductor. The .playing of the band was of a high. standar, and left little to; be desired. The assisting artists were Miss Winnie M'Pcak, Air. Lester Holier, and Mi\ Bert l Rawlinsbn,. who had to cbffiply with'recalls. Mr Lester Holier proved so popular wtyh his recitations that he could not escape with less than three recalls. The concert was one' of the best yet put on by the band, and the members hope to raise the standard even' higher af the remaining concerts.
