CROSS WORD COMPETITION
A PROSECUTION [Per, United Pkess Association.] TIM ABU, July 30. At the Police Court before justices of the peace Raymond Irvine was charged with conducting a game of chance, to wit a crossword competition, contrary to section 41 of the Gaming Act, 1908. Defendant pleaded guilty, and was fined £5 and costs. On a second charge ho was convicted.
