ENGLISH TEAM ARRIVES. AUCKLAND, July 30.. After a successful tour of Australia the English Rugby League team arrived by the Aoraugi tor its dominion tour (including three tests. The manager (Air E. Osborne), who came out with the previous side, said that wonderful enthusiasm had boon shown in Australia, where the gates were a record. The Englishmen won the test rubber and were anxious to_ avenge their defeat in Netv Zealand in 1924. Tlie captain (.Jonathan Parkin) is making his third trip to this country, but will probably bo out of action lor the tour owing to an injured hand.
