NO DISTURBANCES

LONDON, July 29,

(Received July 30, at 10.15 a.in.)

The Cairo correspondent of the London ‘Times’ states that to-day’s political proceedings, about which there was slight apprehension, passed oil' not only without disturbance, but with an atmosphere of public indifference, which is really extraordinary. It undoubtedly constitutes a notable success for Mohamed Mahmouud and his Government. It also reflects credit on the Wafd leader’s good sense in recognising the futility of attempting to create a disturbance. —‘Times’ Cable.
