MAUNGANUI DELAYED
ENGINE TROUBLE DEVELOPS U.S.S. COMPANY ARRANGEMENTS [Peii United Press Association.] WELLINGTON. July 30. The Union Company advises that tho Maunganui, south bound from San Francisco, is being delayed by engine trouble, and will not arrive at AVellington till noon on Thursday—three days late. She will remain at Wellington to effect repairs, and will sail on August 14 for Rarotonga, Papeete, and San Francisco.
Passengers who were proceeding to Sydney by the Maunganui will transfer to the Marama, leaving Wellington on Friday afternoon. The Maheno, which leaves Sydney on tho 10th for Wellington, will connect with the Maunganui. Cargo from San Francisco by the Maqnganui, will be transhipped by the Marama and the Karetu, the latter leaving here on Saturday.
