The run extended over about two miles of excellent hunting country, the throw oil taking place about 3.1 bin Mr irishman's property. The hounds, picking up the scent quickly, and giving plenty of tongue, set off at a great pace, to be followed by some twenty-live odd riders, in charge of the deputy-master (Mr A. Murdoch). The first jump was a gorse hedge on to tiie road, then into the adjoining paddock, over a post and rail. Coming through this paddock, the next jump was a hawthorn hedge, with a water ditch on the other side. This jump generally ca; . trouble to the less experienced riders, but all cleared it without a fall. The trail then led into Mr A. P. Gibson’s property, and, after coming through a ploughed paddock in this property, a gorse hedge was well cleared by all, which brought them into M: Milner’s property, the next jump being a post and rail on to the main road, and then a gorse hedge. The remaining jumps in Mr Milners property comprised post and rails and gorse hedges, the run finishing by tho followers jumping a gorse hedge on to tho road again, and then over a heavy gate into a paddock owned by Mr Milner. Tho going was very good, and the jumping was of a high standard The following racehorses were out putting in their final qualification run. all jumpmg well;—Cassels, King Sol, and Water Baby (a chestnut gelding by Kilrain—Bonnie Pline), owned by Mr J.
