A party organised by Miss Jimsiwfl. Fraser presented a concert at Pine Hill on Thursday evening and submitted a programme of merit to a large audience. The first-item was a bagpipe selection by Piper Will 'Stewart and this was followed by recitations by Miss Ngata Buswell; vocal solos, Mr Arthur Batchelor; pianoforte solos, Miss Edna Dry; vocal solos, Miss Elsie Gould; Irish jig, Miss Jill Fox; vocal solos, Miss Cora Buchan; operatic, dance. Miss Esine Morrison; banjo and Hawaiian guitar duo by Messrs West and P. Thompson; vocal solos by Mr Ray Raper; recitations, Miss Roberta Williams; Sean Triubhais by Misses Olivo Scott and Libbie Hayden; vocal solos, Miss Mavis Raper; sketch, Misses Roberta Williams and -Tm Northey; vocal solos, Mrs H, Bradley; recitations, Miss Tui Northey; too dance, Miss Esme Morrisonj .reel o Tulloch, Misses Olive and Maisie Scott and Jill Fox and Libbie Hayden ; step dance, Miss Martha ihe accompanists were' Misses Edna Dry, Mavis Raper, and J. C Fraser, and the bagpipe music was supplied 'by Piper Will Stewart. At the close of tho concert Mr Hastio (chairman of the Pine Hill School Committee) thanked Miss Fraser and tho ' performers for the programme. Supper was provided and a dance followed.
