year, and second grades were firm. Damaged and inferior quality skins did not meet with a good demand, and values for these were somewhat easier. The following is the range of values;— Super blues, 17s to 19s; first blues, 12s Gd to 14s sd; second blues, 10s to 12s 3d; small blues, os to 7s 6d; super greys, 16s to 17s 6d; first greys, 12« to 14s; second greys, 8s to 11s 6dj small greys, 3s 6d to Cs; super blacks, 13s Gd to 10s 6d; first blacks, 12s to 13s 6d ; second blacks, 9s to 11s; small blacks, 4s Gd to tfs; super reds, 8s to 9s; first reds, Gs to 7s 6d; second reds, 4s Cd to 5s (xi; super browns, 10s to 11s; first browns, 7s Gd to 9s; second browns, 5s to Cs.
