THE BIG FIGHT
WHAT WILL HBENEY’S TACTICS BE? Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. MONTREAL. July 19. (Received July 20, at 1.30 p.m.) A message from Fairhaven states that Heeney has commenced his last week’s training, and at present weighs 51b or <3lb more than ho will when he faces Tunney, but the challenger is in excellent condition, and can easily getdown to weight within a short time. His trainers have perfect faith in him, and allow him to dictate his own training programme. It is believed that Heeney’s tactics will be to try to chase Tunney into a corner and pound away at close quarters until tho champion wilts. The great question is whether Tom can chase Tunney into a corner, because Dempsey could not.
