CLAIM FOR DAMAGES
ALLEGED WRONGFUL ARREST Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, July 19. A claim for £50,000 for alleged wrongful arrest, made on behalf of Jeremiah Jackson against seven named members of the South Pacific Prospecting Development Company, will lie heard in September, The action arises out of a charge of conspiracy preferred against Jackson in connection with certain gold mining leases in Papua, which was dismissed.
