DICTATOR'S REPRESSIVE MEASURES

PARIS, July 19. (Received July 20, at 1 a.m.) The Spanish League for the Rights of Man asserts that oyer 1,000 arrests have been made in Spain, including 450 at Barcelona. . A message from Madrid denies the existence of any plot. It that the arrests ot Socialists, Republicans, and Liberals was a purely preventive measure.—Australian Press AssociationUnited Service.
