CYCLE ROAD RACE
The Civil Service Club kid an open eighteen-mile toad taco at Mbsgiel. A large field faced the starter.: Riding off ojiuifi, T. Dillon won fairly easily in 49 mm. Thero.waa a good finish, for secOnd'placo, C. Lucas beating D. O’Brien in a good sprint. Lucas' obtained: fastest time in 49miu 10 3-ssec. _ The following were tho results:—T. Dilion (49min) 1, C. , Lucas {49mm I 10 3-ssec) .2, D. O’Brien (49min 12scc) I 3j J. Ewing 4, H. Cooper 5. The places for the aggregate cup, which is for competition among Civil Sefvice cyclists, was as follows: —!• .Dillon 1, C. Lucas 2, J. Ewing 3.
