BOXING CHAMPIONS
ALLOCATION OF SEATS,
Association—By Telesraph—Copyright
NEW YORK, July 14. News from Fairhaven says that’comment ascribed to Tunney to the effect that the allocation of seats for the champion’s friends was faulty, and further, that Heeney expects to have only three friends-present, caused the New Zealander to dictate a caustic letter to the champion, in which he declared; “It may interest you to know that 1 have already arranged lor more than 200 tickets for my, friends, but they are not particular where they sit. AH' they want is n good view of me hooking you with lefts and sending your head back with uppercuts. I have always'drawn good audiences, and have earned the right for, a try at your title, because I am always consistent.” Heeney was pleased when he’was informed that the advance sales of tickets ate now * close on 500,000dol.—Australian Press Association.
