Banking shares appeared to be m good demand, buyers offering for nearly every stock under this section. Buyers advanced their prices for Kaiapoi Woollens (ord.) to 9s 6d, with a seller prepared to quit at -10 s 6d. Mosgiel Woollens were inquired for at £6 17b 6d, with sellers at £7 ss. Guarantee Corporations were wanted at 8s 9d, with the Milling quotation at 9s 2d. Wilson’s Cemente were inquired for at £1 18s, but seller* were not prepared to quit under £1 19s 6d. Buyers for Brewery shares increased about 4e during the week, and were this morning prepared to give,£2 ss.
