HEAD-ON COLLISION
MARRIED WOMAN KILLED* Elizabeth Ester Bowman, a married woman, residing near Rangiora, was killed at Christchurch last evening iu a collision between a motor car and a horse and cart. The car, which was driven by the husband of the deceased, met in a head-on collision with a trap driven by Ellis Walters, a lad- One shaft of tho cart penetrated the windscreen of the car and struck Airs Bowman on the chest, entering the rigid breast. Death was almost instantaneous. -
