CONTINUOUS OPERATION URGED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, June 15., (Received June 16, at 10.45 a.m.) The Shipping Conference adopted a resolution, moved by Mr Campbell, general counsel for the American Steamship Owners’ Association, pointing out that the volume of traffic in the Panama Canal now justified continuous operation of the canal day and night, and suggesting that representations be made to the American Government to extend the hours of operation. —Australian Press Association-United Service.
