RUGBY LEAGUE
The star attraction is the match between Christian Brothers and City. Great interest was shown when they last met, Christian *Brothers will have M'Ewan, and Townsend wall be available lor City. Both these players wero unable to turn out when these teams last played. This should bo a fast, thrilling match, with plenty of open football. On the Oval No. 1 Pacific and Kaikorai will meet. Paigar, the Canterbury five-eighth, will don the blue-and-black jersey, while Blazey, the well-known Canterbury kick, will help Pacific. The two teams handle the ball well. The Christian Brothers and Athletic juniors play the curtain raiser on the Caledonian Ground at 1.30, and Pacific and Kaikorai juniors meet at Chisholm Park. The Athletic seniors have a bye this week.
