A sensational .shipwreck characterises ‘Buttons’ at tho Octagon Theatre. Tim story of this delightful film, which stars Ilia versatile Jackie Coogan, revolves around the fickleness qt "Captain Trn vers’s fiancee, this being discovered by young Coogan as tbo captain’s page, nicknamed Buttons. The consequent drama is impressively portraved and blended with some rare comedy, thrilling adventure, and lavish settings. Lars Hanson makes a striking captain, while Gertrude Olmsted .plays the role of the fickle sweetheart with excellent restraint. Polly Moran ami Roy D’Arcy arc’also included in the east. The supporting films arc of fine calibre, while the delightfully rendered music by the Octagon Orchestra is always a welcome feature of the entertainment. ■ ,
