MARQUESS OF LINCOLNSHIRE Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON. Juno 13. (Received June 14, at 9.50 a.m.) The death is announced of the Marquess of Lincolnshire. Australian Press Association-United Service. [Charles Robert Wynn-Carrington, first Marquess of .Lincolnshire, was better known as Earl Carrington. Ho was born in 1843. Ho held the office of Lord Great Chamberlain, and was formerly president of the Board of Agriculture. For many years he was president of the National Liberal Club. In 1885 ho became Governor of New South Wales, a position he held till 1900. His only son, Lord Wcndovcr, was killed in the war. The heir to the barony of Carrington is the Hon. Robert Carrington. Earl Carrington was created a marquess in 1912.]
