REGENT CHANNEL COLLISION RUSSIAN SHIP AT FAULT. From Association —By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, June 13. Mr Justice Bateson, of the Admiralty Court, awarded damages to the owners of the Greek ship Fafalios against the' Bacchus. The judge declared that the case of the Bacchus was hopelessly bad, and every conceivable rule appeared to have been broken. She was travelling too fast in a fog, and did not stop on hearing whistles ahead, nor did she attempt to reduce her speed. He could not accept the defence that the Greek ship was navigated badly.—Australian Press Association
