RANFURLY SHIELLD
The Auckland Rugby Union last night decided to withdraw all challenges issued for the Ranfurly Shield except that against Canterbury on August 4. This action was taken on receipt of advice from tho New Zealand Union that only the union holding the shielcf could be challenged.
