INTERNATIONAL RUGBY
SCOTLAND'S LATEST OUTBURST DOMINIONS AFTER INCREASED RECEIPTS LONDON, June 12. (Received June 13, at 11.30 a.in.) The Scottish Rugby Union lias circularised its clubs concerning its attitude towards dominion football. It states;— “ The committee disapproves of tho financial arrangements between the New South Wales fifteen and Franco, and also considers the terms of the Now Zealanders’ visit in 1924 were contrary to previous arrangements. The committee views favourably the organisation of Rugby in the dominions, but cannot, be a party to any agreement whereby any dominion has anything to say about the organisation of the game in the Mother Country. Th-; principal desire of the dominions’ representatives was to render the game 'aster in order to secure increased receipts. The committee considered the game fast enough and interesting enough. It should not be forgotten that, Rugby• originated in the schools, and the committee would never permit it to become sp tiring that schoolboys could not play it without undue fatigue.”
