FARMERS PETITION AGAINST THE ACT [Pes United Press Association’.] WELLINGTON, May The executive of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union met to-day. Mr Pow, the secretary, said that two months ago he approached the branches in order to secure signatures to a petition to Parliament against the retention of daylight saving. Ho had received a number of replies against the Act, and the petition would be presented.
