A UNIQUE INVESTMENT

THE DEMAND FOR GLASS. Surprising as it may seem, the imports of glass and glassware in this dominion is yearly on the increase. There are several factors that contribute to this state of things. First, the natural one of growing population; secondly, our houses and factories being built larger; and, thirdly, people are learning that glass makes the most hygienic food container. Now, on top of this surprising position it seems that there is no concern at the present time making sheet glass in Australasia; all we use has to be imported. Now, this being an established fact, does it not go to prove that the future success of the Southern Cross Glass Company of New Zealand, Ltd., is a foregone conclusion? For this company will be the first of its kind to make sheet glass in this dominion, and in addition it will make many other glass lines at present in keen demand, but which can be obtained only by importing. The company's capital is £250,000. By the prospectus £75,000 of this amount is offered in £1 shares to the public. Full particulars and the prospectus of this unique proposition should be obtained immediately from the secretary, Southern Cross Glass Company of New Zealand, Ltd., Ashburton.—[Advt.]
